During the pandemic quarantine period, Times Square and much of New York City seemed overcome by a dreamlike, almost post-apocalyptic emptiness throughout the usually vibrant streets. Murdocco captured that desolation and imagined herself as a Wonder Woman trying to survive the surreal chapter in her adopted city.

“Trembling Bridge”
A self-portrait in Manhattan overlooking Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge.

The water reveals the long exposure that captured the bridge shaking in the Brooklyn side, but still in the Manhattan side. There was no AI or digital manipulation of those aspects. The soft water effect was done in the camera using a slow shutter speed.
